Hi, y'all. Here are our thoughts for our wine and cheese tasting get-togethers.1. Six couples each commit to host a tasting over the course of the year--we are thinking every other month beginning in July.
2. Each couple plans their own tasting, inviting the five couples and whomever else they choose.
3. Hosts choose the theme and a worthy charity to support. They also provide crackers and whatever else they choose...
4. Guests bring a bottle of wine paired with a cheese to share. Guests may also bring a donation for the host's selected charity.
Theme Ideas- Wines from particular regions: South Africa, France, Sonoma Valley, etc.
- Wines from particular grapes: chardonnay, cabernet, reisling, merlot, etc.
- Wines by grape color: Reds, whites, blushes.
- Favorites: best wine under $6, best summer wine, best wine with Thai food, etc.
- Labels: design, creativity, etc.
- Whatever...you get the idea...

- Set a price limit/range for wine/cheese (some of us have kids in college)!
